Retail Manager: Equestrian & Country Clothing


We have an exciting opportunity at Eland Lodge for a Retail Manager to join our team.

Eland Lodge is a well-known equestrian establishment offering one of the best specialist equine stores in the country together with a superb competition venue and a premium livery facility. We are seeking a marketing professional capable of producing and implementing a strong marketing strategy for all areas of the Eland Lodge business, with a particular focus on e-commerce.

This role would suit someone looking to join an ambitious family business. We are seeking a retail professional capable of managing and further developing the store.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

▪️ A proven track record in retail/sales with management responsibility
▪️ An in depth knowledge of all things equine
▪️ A desire to succeed both personally and professionally
▪️ Proficient use of various computer packages and systems
▪️ Familiarity with the various equestrian disciplines

Areas of responsibility will include:

▪️Staff management
▪️Delivery of sales targets
▪️Stock management
▪️Management of the store environment
▪️External sales operations
▪️Reporting and analysis

Equestrian Retail Assistant - Part Time
If you’re looking for an opportunity to combine your customer service skills with your passion for all things equine, then this could be the ideal job for you!

As part of this Sales Assistant role, you will need to:
- Confidently deliver first class customer service to a range of customers
-Have good equine knowledge
-Be self-motivated and enthusiastic

Full training will be provided on fitting safety wear, all technical products, and use of the till/IT systems as well as coffee shop/food preparation.

This role will offer you the chance to grow your skills and experience in a friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive equine retail environment.

Part Time Groundsperson

We’re looking for a flexible, reliable and hard-working Groundsperson to join our team 3 days per week with immediate start, working outdoors on our cross-country course.

Main duties will include:
-Mowing
-Strimming
-Painting
-General gardening tasks
