Founded in Ireland in 1981, Bucas strive to merge the great Irish equestrian tradition with the latest technological developments, to create the highest quality horse rugs. In 1982 they released their fir high performance water resistant turnout rug, and followed this with the first fully waterproof and breathable rugs by the end of the 1980’s.
